# CRZ Training — Terms of Service

**Effective date / version:** [F01: ____________________]

**Operator:** [F02: ____________________] (“we,” “us” or “our”).

*Preparation status: draft for completion and legal review. Bracketed fields are intentionally blank. This draft covers the current offline app and optional private-beta account/session-sync service. Remove this preparation notice and the reviewer notes only after completing review and before publication.*

## 1. Agreement and scope

These Terms govern your use of CRZ Training's available training functions and associated optional account services (together, the “Service”). You enter into this agreement with the Operator when you accept these Terms through [F09: ____________________]. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

CRZ Training is an airsoft training aid. Available functions include a local shot timer, training drills, calibration, review and correction of detected events, manual score calculations, and optional local video recording, review and export. Some functions require a compatible native iOS build, device permissions or current Pro access. A browser or development preview does not provide all native functions.

The current release does not provide AI Coach replies, AI video analysis, cloud video backup or public content hosting. Features marked “Coming soon,” planned or unavailable are not included benefits or commitments to a delivery date.

## 2. Eligibility and responsible training

Minimum age: [F06: ____________________]. Rules for minors, guardian agreement and supervision: [F07: ____________________]. Offered territories and any additional eligibility conditions: [F08: ____________________].

Use the Service only where your airsoft activity is lawful and permitted by the venue. Follow applicable safety rules, equipment instructions and any required supervision or protective-equipment requirements. Set up and operate the app without creating a hazard or distracting yourself or others during training. A timer cue, drill description or score is not permission to perform an unsafe activity.

## 3. Devices, permissions and automated results

Microphone permission is needed for shot detection and calibration. Video recording is optional and requires camera permission and your per-run recording choice; recordings include sound from the microphone. You may decline permissions, but the related functions will be unavailable. Calls, backgrounding, audio-route changes, device conditions and other interruptions can stop or interrupt a run or recording.

Detection is automated and can miss shots, count other sounds, or report provisional or inaccurate events. Calibration does not guarantee accuracy. You can review and correct results where the app provides those controls. Manual additions and corrections are distinct from original measured events. Score calculations depend on the values you enter; the app does not determine target hits from video.

Treat timings, counts, scores, alignment and overlays as training information to check before relying on or sharing them. They are not a guarantee of performance, a safety assessment or certification of an official competition result. Experimental diagnostic features do not establish improved detection accuracy.

## 4. Optional accounts, security and Pro access

You may use the available Free local functions without creating an account. Optional online account functions require a configured build, an internet connection and authentication through the offered sign-in provider. Use an account you are authorized to control, keep its access credentials secure, and contact us if you suspect unauthorized access. Do not share credentials or use another person's identity to obtain account data or entitlements.

Pro access depends on a current entitlement verified for the relevant account. A locally displayed status or a payment-provider response alone does not establish current server access. Local cached Pro access is time-limited: it cannot continue beyond the entitlement's expiry or more than 14 days after its last verification. Online features may require a fresh verification sooner.

In the current private beta, an Operator-issued grant may provide Pro for a limited period. Such a grant is not a paid subscription, a promise of renewal or a right to permanent access. Its expiry and revocation affect Pro functions as described in these Terms and the completed beta policy in section 13.

Closing the account panel is not signing out. An authenticated account may be restored when the app restarts. Sign-out removes cached account access on the device but does not delete local or cloud records.

## 5. Free, Pro and payments

Free runs are temporary and are not retained as ordinary session history. Basic drills remain available without Pro. Current Pro functions include advanced drills, eligible account-owned history and sync, watermark-free exports and original-video sharing through the app, subject to the applicable build and access checks.

Purchases and purchase restoration are disabled in the current release. These Terms do not authorize a charge, create a paid trial, convert beta access into a subscription, or establish a subscription price. Reference prices or planned monthly/annual options are not an available purchase offer. Any future paid offering requires its actual price, renewal, cancellation and refund terms to be provided and agreed through the applicable purchase process before payment.

Expiry or loss of Pro locks retained session history and related session-data functions; it does not by itself delete those records. Current verified Pro for the same account can reopen retained history. Ordinary session export also requires Pro. This feature restriction does not limit any data-access or other right you have under applicable law; contact us to exercise those rights.

## 6. Rights in the app and other software

Rights in the app's software, designs, training materials, branding and third-party components remain with their respective rights holders. Access to the Service does not transfer ownership of those materials or grant rights to use another party's marks beyond authorized use of the Service.

The software-license and distribution arrangement applicable to your copy is: [F12: ____________________]. Separately applicable software and open-source licenses remain effective for the material they cover. These Terms do not remove rights granted by those licenses or by applicable law, including lawful rights to inspect, modify or use separately licensed software.

## 7. Your material and limited processing permission

Your material may include setup and calibration information, training events and corrections, manual scores, optional waveform previews, and your recordings. You retain whatever ownership and other rights you have in that material. We do not acquire ownership merely because the app stores or processes it.

You authorize us, including service providers acting for us, to process, store, copy and transmit your material only as needed to perform the functions you use, such as local review, eligible account sync, export and sharing you select, and the retention/deletion processing described in section 10 and the Privacy Policy. This permission does not authorize advertising use, public promotion, resale or model training using your material. It lasts only as needed for those purposes and the completed, applicable retention obligations; it is not a perpetual general-purpose content license.

Only record, import, sync or share material you are entitled to use. Obtain any required permission from people recorded and respect privacy, publicity, copyright and venue rules. You choose whether and where to share exports. Copies delivered to another app, recipient, Photos or Files may remain outside the Service and cannot be recalled through CRZ's deletion controls.

## 8. Local storage, sync, backups and exports

The timer processes microphone input locally. Retaining a derived waveform preview is optional and off by default. A waveform preview is different from raw microphone audio; an optional recorded video includes its audio track.

For an eligible authenticated Pro account, the app saves session records locally and can automatically synchronize that account's queued training records while the app is active and timer activity permits transfer. These records include drill information, event times and corrections, attempt status and manual scoring inputs. Ordinary session sync does not include video files, waveform previews or session notes. Legacy local sessions require selected import into an eligible account before entering that account's sync flow. Connectivity problems, conflicts or entitlement changes can delay or block transfers.

Both Free and Pro are limited to three saved local videos. You must delete a saved video before recording another when capacity is full. Free saved videos omit session data. When Pro access ends or the active account changes, the app can still provide media-only access to local video while withholding protected session data.

Free app exports include a CRZ watermark. Pro permits watermark removal and original-video sharing within the app. Reviewed exports are separate copies; editing timing information does not rewrite the recorded original. Native overlay export accepts supported recordings of up to ten minutes with the required audio/video tracks and valid alignment. Export can fail for an unsupported file or device condition.

At most eight temporary overlay exports or reservations can be outstanding. The app's normal cleanup can remove tracked temporary copies once their 24-hour retention period has elapsed; sharing can extend that period. Cleanup runs when the app performs its checks, so it is not guaranteed to occur at an exact time. Confirmed local-data deletion may remove tracked temporary copies earlier. This temporary-copy cleanup does not intentionally remove saved originals or unknown files.

The general local JSON backup is not a complete archive of your training history or recordings. It currently exports no session-history entries in its session list, although native saved-video metadata can include linked session snapshots. It does not embed video files. Separate session export controls are available for eligible Pro records. Import validates supported backup data but does not grant Pro, guarantee recovery on another device or restore missing video bytes. Cloud account export contains supported records/metadata, not original video files, and pages may reflect changes made during export.

Keep separate copies of material you need using the available export/share controls. Managed original video files are excluded from the app's operating-system backup configuration. Local loss, app removal or storage failure may make unsaved or unexported material unavailable. These descriptions do not exclude any recovery or other remedy required by law.

Our Privacy Policy is available at [F10: ____________________]. It describes applicable personal-data processing and request procedures. These Terms do not replace that policy or any legally required separate consent.

## 9. Acceptable use and technical limits

Do not use the Service to:

- carry out unlawful or unsafe activity, or make or share recordings without required rights or permissions;
- access another person's account or data without authorization, impersonate another user, or falsify identity or entitlement information;
- evade authentication, entitlement, storage, request-rate or other access controls; or
- disrupt the Service or its providers, interfere with other users' access, or send malicious requests or files.

The Service validates supported data types, identifiers, timing values, payload sizes and account access. It may reject unsupported requests, delay transfers or throttle online requests. Technical limits do not create an entitlement to a guaranteed request throughput, unlimited history, storage or successful exports. These rules do not restrict rights expressly granted by applicable law or a separate software license.

## 10. Deletion, retained records and stopping use

You may stop using the app at any time. Stopping use, closing a screen, signing out, deleting a local record, deleting cloud account data and cancelling any separately existing store subscription are different actions.

For accessible saved sessions, a confirmed session deletion removes the local history entry and queues a deletion for sync. Remote deletion depends on successful authorized transfer; a minimal deletion marker can remain to prevent reappearance through sync. Deleting a session does not itself delete the associated original video. Use the separate video deletion control for a saved recording.

The local-data control removes the local categories it currently handles, including current session state, settings/profile and managed video files it can identify. It is not a guarantee that every legacy record, unknown file, operating-system/provider copy or separate account credential has been erased. It does not delete cloud data or sign you out of the identity provider; retained cloud history may synchronize back while access remains active. Imported legacy data and inaccessible files can require separate handling.

When account services are available, you can request cloud account-data deletion through the account controls without requiring Pro. A successful request removes account session/operation records and starts the separate identity/media cleanup process. Identity deletion is not immediate. Object-storage failures can prevent completion, and earlier upload authorizations can require cleanup to wait until they expire. Local material and copies shared elsewhere are not deleted by this request.

Minimal usage/anti-abuse records and beta-access audit history can remain after account cleanup. The deletion-status record is retained while cleanup is pending; successful cleanup can remove the account record. Applicable retained categories, purposes, periods, operational cleanup timetable and privacy-request procedure: [F20: ____________________]. This description does not authorize retention that applicable law prohibits.

Current Pro expiry locks retained account history rather than automatically destroying it. This is not a permanent-storage or backup commitment. For deletion failures, inaccessible records, or requests to exercise applicable privacy rights, contact [F04: ____________________]. If you have an App Store subscription from a separately available release, use Apple's subscription controls to cancel it; cloud or local deletion does not perform that cancellation.

## 11. Availability and warranties

The current private beta includes functions that remain subject to build, device and operational verification. The specific measurement, recording, storage and transfer limitations in these Terms describe how those functions may behave; they do not eliminate statutory guarantees or remedies.

Approved warranty, availability and support provisions: [F13: ____________________].

Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty, guarantee, duty or remedy that applicable law does not permit the Operator to exclude.

## 12. Liability

Permitted exclusions of liability and required exceptions: [F14: ____________________].

Any agreed liability cap, calculation period, amount/currency and exceptions: [F15: ____________________].

These provisions must not limit liability or consumer remedies beyond what applicable law permits. A blank field does not impose a limit or make you waive a claim.

## 13. Access restrictions and end of access

Online access may be unavailable when authentication is invalid or revoked, an entitlement is expired or cannot be freshly verified, an account is pending deletion, or technical controls reject a request. A beta Pro grant can expire or be revoked. These events do not represent a remote wipe of your device or a mechanism for disabling ordinary offline Free use.

The policy governing Operator-initiated restriction or withdrawal of beta/cloud access, including grounds, notice, emergency exceptions, complaints/review and retained-data handling, is: [F19: ____________________].

Ending account access does not itself cancel a store subscription or recall exported copies. Sections concerning existing rights, permitted retained records, applicable liabilities and dispute resolution continue only to the extent relevant after use ends and permitted by law. Ending access does not enlarge our permission to use your material.

## 14. Changes to the Service and these Terms

Feature availability can depend on the release, configuration and verified access described above. A feature being developed does not become part of the Service merely because it appears in a preview or plan. Any future paid offering or materially different data/AI service requires its relevant disclosures and terms before it is offered.

The current version of these Terms and version history will be published at [F11: ____________________]. Material-change notice method, advance notice and any renewed-acceptance requirement: [F21: ____________________]. Changes do not retroactively remove accrued rights or mandatory legal protections. No price change or new payment obligation is created by posting a revision alone.

## 15. Governing law and disputes

Governing law: [F17: ____________________].

Courts/venue and agreed dispute-resolution procedure: [F18: ____________________].

Any mandatory protections and rights to bring proceedings available to you under applicable consumer law remain in effect. These Terms contain no agreed arbitration requirement or class-action waiver.

## 16. Contact

Operator legal name: [F02: ____________________].

Postal address / applicable developer telephone contact: [F03: ____________________].

Legal, privacy and support email: [F04: ____________________].

Support/contact website: [F05: ____________________].

## 17. Other applicable terms and language

Apple's applicable distribution/account terms and any applicable software EULA remain relevant to an Apple-distributed copy. If you choose Apple or Google sign-in, the provider's own account/service terms govern that provider relationship. We use Clerk to supply authentication; infrastructure vendors' business contracts are not made your contracts merely because they support the Service. User-selected sharing destinations may have their own rules. This section does not transfer the Operator's responsibilities to a provider.

Applicable separate licenses continue to govern their covered software. Any mandatory legal protection prevails over inconsistent wording in these Terms. The controlling contract language and any required market-specific provisions are: [F24: ____________________].

## Reviewer notes — not part of the published agreement

**Scope and assumptions.** This is a draft for the current offline/private-beta release, based on the working tree audited on 30 October 2026. Purchases remain disabled; Coach/media routes are retired. It intentionally creates no paid entitlement, future-feature warranty, broad content license, AI-training permission, proprietary claim over separately licensed code, automatic charge, arbitration/class waiver or indemnity. Contract policies are proposed drafting, not facts established by source. See the [audit](01-REPOSITORY-AUDIT.md) and [completion index](02-COMPLETION-INDEX.md).

**Owner decisions.** Complete F01–F15 and F17–F21/F24 as applicable. Indemnification decision (not an operative clause): [F16: ____________________]. Future subscription pricing/renewal decision: [F22: ____________________]. Future cancellation/refund/restore decision: [F23: ____________________]. Completing future fields alone does not activate paid terms; draft and review the actual paid offering before launch.

**Product issues.** Resolve misleading automatic-sync notices, incomplete local JSON session backup, native/web import differences, incomplete “all local data” deletion, operational identity/media cleanup and a non-paywalled route for statutory data rights. The limitations above must not substitute for correcting misleading controls or satisfying legal obligations. Final retention and permitted processing must agree with the Privacy Policy and provider operations.

**Distribution and enforceability.** Confirm the operator's title to app/brand/assets and the root MIT/Expo and font-license notices. This document has not been selected or checked as a replacement custom App Store EULA. If used for that purpose, reconcile Apple's required minimum terms and the actual distribution agreement. Do not claim existing users accepted this document: current onboarding has no versioned acceptance mechanism.

**Qualified review required.** Before publication, a qualified attorney should review the completed terms, actual shipping product, distribution arrangement and launch-country consumer, privacy, age, safety and subscription requirements. No jurisdiction-specific enforceability or production-release acceptance is established by this draft.
